Create your account
Anyone can create a PowaAgent account, and creating one is free. Setup has four steps: create the account, confirm your email, set up two-factor authentication, and create your wallet.
1. Create the account
Go to portal.powaagent.ai and choose Create account. You'll be asked for:
- First name and last name
- Phone number, including your country code, for example +1 555 123 4567. Your country is taken from the phone number, and you can change it later in Settings → Profile.
- Password and Confirm password. Passwords need at least 12 characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character.
By creating an account you agree to the PowaAgent Terms and Privacy Policy.
2. Confirm your email
We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it on Verify your email. If it doesn't arrive, choose Send new code.
3. Set up two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is required for every account. You need an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password. SMS codes are not supported.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. If you can't scan it, use Copy setup key and enter the key in the app instead.
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows.
From now on, signing in needs your email, your password and a code from your authenticator app.
4. Create your wallet
On Set up your PowaAgent wallet., the portal explains what happens next:
- A wallet is created for you on Base mainnet, and the address belongs to you.
- PowaAgent signs transactions on your agent's behalf, within spend caps you can edit at any time.
- Coinbase holds the wallet key in its secure enclave. You can export your recovery key at any time from Settings.
To continue, tick the consent box:
I understand that creating my PowaAgent wallet grants PowaAgent delegated signing access for 10 years, unless I revoke access from the dashboard.
Then choose Create PowaAgent wallet. When it's ready you land on your Dashboard, which shows your wallet address and Agent access: Active with the date the access expires.
What the signing access allows
The access you grant lets PowaAgent sign payments from your wallet when your agent makes a paid call. Before each signature, PowaAgent checks the call against your source policy: your deny list, your allow list, which seller tiers you allow, and your spend caps. PowaAgent never holds your wallet key.
You can revoke access at any time from the Agent access card on the Dashboard, and renew it when you want. See Agent access and account security.
