Fund your wallet from other countries
If Coinbase card payments don't work where you live, you can still fund your wallet. You buy USDC at an exchange in your country. Then you send it to your PowaAgent wallet on the Base network.
This guide is here to help. It is not financial advice. PowaAgent is not linked to the exchanges named here. Each exchange sets its own fees, limits and rules, and these can change. Check the exchange's own pages before you buy.
How it works
- Add local money to an exchange
- Buy USDC
- Withdraw USDCNetwork: Base
- Your PowaAgent wallet
Step by step
- Pick an exchange that works in your country and can send USDC on Base. See the list below.
- Open an account and verify your identity.
- Add money in your local currency, for example by bank transfer.
- Buy USDC. Some exchanges sell USDT more widely. You can swap USDT for USDC on the exchange.
- Withdraw USDC. Paste your PowaAgent wallet address from the Funding page. Choose Base as the network.
- Answer the address questions. Many exchanges ask who owns the address. Say it is your own self-hosted wallet and give your own name.
- Check your balance in the portal.
Exchanges that send USDC on Base
We checked these on 9 October 2026. Each exchange decides which countries it serves.
| Exchange | Sends USDC on Base | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Binance | Yes | binance.com |
| Bitget | Yes | bitget.com |
| Coinbase (your Coinbase balance) | Yes | coinbase.com |
| Gemini | Yes | gemini.com |
| Kraken | Yes | kraken.com |
| KuCoin | Yes | kucoin.com |
| OKX | Yes | okx.com |
Not every exchange supports Base. If yours doesn't, don't send USDC to your PowaAgent wallet on another network.
Before you send
- Network: choose Base. Other networks will lose your money.
- Token: send USDC. Don't send USDT or "bridged USDC" (USDbC).
- Test first: send a small amount and check it arrives.
- Minimums: exchanges set a minimum withdrawal. Check it before you buy.
If your exchange can't send USDC on Base
Some exchanges only send USDC on other networks, such as Ethereum. If you have a Coinbase account, you can use it as a stop on the way:
- Get a Coinbase address. In Coinbase, choose Receive, then USDC. Pick a network that your exchange also uses, for example Ethereum. Copy the address.
- Send from your exchange to Coinbase. On your exchange, withdraw USDC to that Coinbase address. Choose the same network you picked in Coinbase.
- Send from Coinbase to PowaAgent. When the USDC arrives in Coinbase, choose Send, then USDC. Paste your PowaAgent wallet address and choose Base as the network.
Good to know
- The network must match at each step. If it doesn't, the money can be lost.
- Coinbase lets you hold and send crypto in many countries where it doesn't take card payments.
- Sending on Ethereum usually costs more in network fees than sending on Base.
- Coinbase may ask whether the address you send to is your own wallet. Say yes; it is your PowaAgent wallet.
